TestMart New Equipment Policy & Warranty

NEW EQUIPMENT POLICY

As the leading distributor of test and measurement and life sciences equipment to the U.S. Government, its agencies, the military, and authorized purchasers, TestMart is committed to providing only new equipment, purchased directly from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).

TestMart does not sell used or reconditioned equipment unless explicitly stated on both the quote and order confirmation. In those limited cases, equipment is sold only as OEM-certified pre-owned or factory-reconditioned and is backed by the OEM’s direct warranty.


WARRANTY TERMS

All new equipment is shipped with the full OEM warranty. Extended warranties may be available at additional cost when offered by the manufacturer. TestMart does not include calibration services or extended warranties in the quoted price except where they are explicitly provided by the OEM.

Warranties cover equipment failure only and do not include periodic recalibration. If TestMart receives notice of defects or non-conformance to specifications during the warranty period, TestMart will, at its option, repair (and recalibrate only as required by such repairs) or replace the affected equipment. Customers agree to pay shipping expenses for equipment to and from TestMart when warranty repairs are requested.


LIMITATION OF WARRANTY

THE ABOVE WARRANTIES ARE EXCLUSIVE. NO OTHER WARRANTY, WHETHER WRITTEN OR ORAL, IS EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGES THAT TESTMART IS NOT THE MANUFACTURER OF THE EQUIPMENT AND MAKES NO WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. TESTMART MAKES NO WARRANTY THAT THE EQUIPMENT WILL NOT INFRINGE ANY PATENT OR PROPERTY RIGHT OF ANY THIRD PARTY.
